Note to everyone: Observe well, very very well.

Funny how I only realize something is typographically wrong in my previous post days/weeks after I post it. If you see/saw grammatical errors in any of my posts, don’t mind it. 🙂 Anyway, I really don’t know what am I doing here right now. It’s a quarter after three and I’m still WIDE awake. Ah good luck to me on my 10am class later, I’m sure I’m gonna have a veeeery hard time waking up. (I actually don’t think it matters what time I fall asleep, waking up earlier than 11 will ALWAYS be hard.)

Okay ikkwento ko nalang yung highlight of the day/imbyerna moment ko kanina.. So I was looking for a notebook at National Bookstore earlier (still in my corporate attire) when a student came up to me and said “miss eto nalang ba yung diary of a wimpy kid nyo?” (wow) I just smiled and answered “sorry I don’t work here.” but deep inside, I was like..

Hahaha it was kind of nakakainis yet a funny moment (honestly!) I immediately called Janeeva and told her what happened. Tawang tawa lang kami pareho! Nakakainis kaya!! lol but really, it was funny….. alam ko! Kahit ako natawa, and I bet my twitter and instagram followers laughed as well when they read my post.

That’s one of the not-so-good things about wearing corporate attire in public places, especially in government institution sites, restaurants and some stores. You get mistaken for being the salesclerk/saleswoman/storekeeper. Err porket naka corporate attire, nagttrabaho na agad? Hindi ba pwedeng uniform lang yun sa school? Anyway I hope that’s the last.. mm now I know the feeling. May incident na kasi before na ako naman yung nagkamali. EM-BA-RRA-SSING.

Hahaha, I think everyone of us do experience this kind of scenario, nakakainis nga at first but then you’ll laugh it out afterwards. Mine, was, I had this flight back to Davao from Hong Kong after taking my NCLEX (nationwide examination for the licensing of nurses in the United States), and there’s one passenger who is seated on my right side, who thought at first that I am a Chinese national, and then she realized that I am not…after me saying “opo”. She was then very friendly and asking me few questions, and one statement she uttered that made me giggle inside was when she said that “Buti pinayagan ka ng amo mo para maka uwi sa atin”…Dang! it took a trifling seconds for me to process my thoughts why she made that statement, then getting the gist that through her eyes I am a DH – well nothing wrong with being a DH. So I replied to her without hesitation “yes, opo…mababait yung mga amo ko with matching gleaming grin on my face” This happened way back in January 2007, and still I can’t help to have a laugh at it every time I remember this.
